we didn't know when we picked out the the dinosaur theme for Cameron's bedding that he would take it to heart. he apparently thinks he's a baby pterodactyl.

4 months!

Cameron is 4 months old today, and he thinks he is so big.
He holds his own bottle.

He's reading.

But he's still just a small sprout who needs his sleep.

the poo...

so mommy experienced her first real blowout yesterday. i'm sitting in the chair with Cam laying on my lap facing me. he's pooing, which he does a lot, and i'm letting him finish, as he tends to fill it up as soon as i put a new diaper on him.
well, i pick him up to go change him, and i realize that there's poo all over my arm. and my pants. and all up his entire back. it was the most disgusting thing. it had all shot up the back of his diaper. i had to give the kid a bath at 9:00 in the morning.
way to go, Cam.

checkup

Cameron went for his 4 month checkup this morning. He's in about the 60th or so percentile for weight at 15 lbs 4 oz, and in the (get this) 97th percentile for height at 27 inches! How on earth did a little shrimp like me give birth to a string bean like this?? He must be channeling his Uncle Jerry...
