are you going to san francisco?

Mom (Bonnie) came to visit for the long weekend. Saturday we went to the city and biked across the Golden Gate Bridge. Sunday we spent the day in Carmel and Monterey. We had good weather and lots of good eats. I have included some pics.

We took another shot of Becky's beautiful growing belly. Next month we will have more ultrasound pictures to post.

the doppler effect

We had another doctor's appointment on Monday. No pictures this time, but we did get to hear the heart beat on the doppler machine. It was pretty cool--sounded more like a freight train in a tunnel than a tiny human heart, but what do I know? Becky and baby are doing well. Next month is the big ultrsound where we hopefully can find out the sex.

welcome to the the second trimester

Becky is 14 weeks along today. She is a third of the way there and is starting to show a bit. We have another doc appointment on Feb. 11 and we should be able to hear the heartbeat with the doppler machine. I always thought doppler was technology for the weatherman, but what do I know?

happy birthday pickles

Yesterday Pickles turned 4 years old. We got her a strawberry shortcake (her favorite) Becky and I helped her eat it.

Our friends Brandon and Lauren are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their son Cooper next month. They sent us a weblink to some really helpful on new baby care. I thought others might like to benefit from the great advice.
