Cameron is walking everywhere now and has been eating more of the food we eat. He loves mandarin oranges and cheerios. He loves playing with his new toys and we have left up his puppy party decorations since he loves them so much.

1 year stats

We took Cameron to the doctor yesterday for his one year checkup. He is 32.5 inches long and weighs 24.8lbs. That is 75th percentile in weight and 99th percentile in height--so he is still our little moose. He has been battling a cold the past few days so not much sleep for anyone.

He continues to walk all over the house. Our apartment is pretty well baby proofed, but we do have a lamp tucked beside the wall and the end of the couch that is off limits, however Cam likes to test us by giving it a little shake. He touches the lamp and he gets put in his pack and play for a little time out. I must say the time out has not been very effective. Last night he went for the lamp and Dad told him no. He went for it again and gave it a tug harder than usual and the entire lamps crashed to the ground and the glass dome at the top shattered into a million pieces. He was not hurt, but it sure scared him. Maybe now he knows why we did not want him playing with the lamp.

Birthday Party

We had a great party yesterday at the apartment with 19 guests. Nanny gets the award for most miles traveled. Thanks to everyone who helped up celebrate Cam's big day. Cam is allergic to eggs and milk so Becky made him a special puppy cake. The rest of us ate cupcakes. It was a great day. Cameron took a bite out of each of his presents.

One year ago today, we welcomed Cameron to the world. We have a party planned for Saturday. Today, we are going to do some of his favorite activities. We have already been to the pool. We are planning his first ever trip to play Putt-Putt golf after a messy pasta dinner. Here are some of our fav pics from the past year!
