8 months old today!
We can hardly believe it, but Cameron is 8 months old. We had an eventful spring break moving to a new larger apartment on the beach. If you want the new address please email us and I will forward it to you. I will not post it here for security reasons.
We love the new place. Lots more space and Cam has his own room. It took us 8 months but we finally got him a nursery!
This past week he has been pushing himself up from his tummy to sitting up. He doesn't really like to lay down anymore and is all over the place. He has also been pushing up on his hands and feet. Those of you who do yoga will recognize this position as "downward facing dog". Those of you who don't can google it.
He's been talking a lot and plays very well by himself now. We have a new big boy car seat that he seems to like. His favorite things are still baths and going for walks in his Bjorn.
Sorry we haven't posted for a while, but between the move and internet issues, we've been a little out of touch. It will be better now, we promise.

catch all
Some little things have been going on, but we've been trying to get ready to move, so this is just a catch all of stuff that's been going on the past couple of weeks.
Cameron is just having way too much fun in the bathtub lately. He's rolling onto his tummy and trying to swim like a fish. It's so funny. And last week he was kicking and splashing so much a turd came out. Yep, he pooped in the tub. I guess it had to happen at some point. I'm just glad it wasn't when his movements weren't well formed. lol.
The majority of his lab work has come back, and it's all normal. We're still waiting on one test, and his eye appointment. We'll let you know when we know something.
The little man has been getting up on his knees the past couple of days, doing a little rocking. Today we think he went forward like an inch. Still mostly going backwards though. But he sure doesn't have any problems getting around. Good thing we're moving. I think the forward crawling is coming soon.
We finally got him a booster seat/high chair so he can eat his big boy food in a big boy chair. That, and his thighs were getting too big for the Bumbo. He really likes it, and he's so cute sitting in it!
And lastly, he's starting to ride in the shopping cart! He loves to look around at everything, especially all the balloons at Publix. We promise to post a picture from the next time we go to the store.

Birmingham
Jason had a theatre conference in Birmingham this past week, and Cam and I tagged along. Jason attended some really great workshops, and Cameron and I got to hang out with grandma and grandpa a lot. We also got a visit from Nanny and Grams. 3 grandmas and a grandpa in 4 days! Talk about spoiled rotten. Cam was great for the vast majority of the trip, and he was definitely the hit of the conference. Grown men were stopping us in the halls to tell us how cute he was! Not that we disagree...Cam also turned 7 months on this trip, and he got another tooth!

If you look closely in this one, you can see his tooth!

Pensacola
We went to see the pediatric rheumatologist last Friday. It was a typical first visit. The doctor asked a lot of questions, and referred us to a pediatric opthamologist to check for eye inflammation, and to get more blood work done. We won't know a whole lot til the labwork comes back, but he's doing really well right now, so we're just grateful for that.
Happy Birthday to Coop!
