random pics

Cameron and the new quilt that his mimi and great-grandma made for him:

I woke up one morning, unzipped the sleep sack, and found this ridiculous sight:

the tooth and nothing but the tooth

Cameron has a tooth! It's just starting to come up through his gums. We'd take a picture, but every time we pry his mouth open he sticks out his tongue. I guess he's shy about it.

blowout Suzuki style

When Becky and I were waiting for Cam to show up we took a infant care class at the hospital. You may remember the post from July. She went on and on about the dreaded "blowout" This was supposed to be a bowel movement that could defy the laws of gravity and bring grown men to their knees. We laughed it off and after a few episodes of projectile vomit I thought we had seen it all.

That was before this week!! Let me just say that none of Paula Suzuki's warnings could have prepared us for the things we saw that night. It took both Becky and I to handle the situation. I tried to throw his clothes away, but Becky reminded me that would get costly if he has more of these events. I don't understand where he was keeping all of the product. I have seen things only seen in times of war. I will never be the same.

The best part was he did it all while we were feeding him. Stealth like a Ninja. Clandestine defecation.

It took us two baths and half a bottle of Pine-sol to erase the evidence.

Thank goodness we were both home. If it had been me, I might have just taken him to the car wash and hosed him off.

to pea or not to pea, that is the question

We introduced Cameron to peas yesterday. It was highly entertaining.

sweet potato

After a few weeks of rice cereal we introduced Cameron to sweet potatoes tonight. You can decide for yourself whether he liked it or not.

bath time

so we stopped using the stupid bathtub that we originally got. it leaked in the middle and he was getting too big for it anyway. so now we have a sponge for a pillow and take a big boy bath. he just loves splashing around and playing with his dino bath toys.
