daddy's back

yay! we missed him, and we're glad he's back, even if he is busy with a show.

so last week i'm about to leave the house and jason had just calmed cam down after somewhat of a meltdown and we hear this thud. this crazy bird had flown right into our window. (luckily it wasn't open) there were feathers flying everywhere and a big grease stain on our window. he flew away, so i guess he's ok. but what i don't understand is that the window wasn't clear or anything. the blinds were about halfway down. i don't know if he was an extremely near-sighted bird or just drunk. it was the middle of the day....

3 months

Cameron is 3 months old today. YAY! Daddy's out of town right now, but we're thinking of him and love him and miss him very much. Aunt Heather's been helping out, and we've been in pretty good spirits.

Cameron is officially a big boy now. He's holding his head up! We couldn't be prouder. Mommy was a little worried for a while there. Tummy time wasn't going very well and he seemed to almost be regressing. Then last Thursday he just picked his big sweet melon up off the floor! And tonight he was just showing off big time. We're gonna be in big trouble when he starts crawling.

So we went to vote today. Hope y'all did, too! Jason went early this morning and was 11th in line at 7 am. Me and Cam went around 11 am. He was all smiley getting out of the car and into the stroller. Then the poll greeter starts making faces at him and he starts crying his poor little heart out with big ole tears and everything. He eventually settled down and voted for the first time.
All right, he really just helped mommy vote. But that counts, right?

cam's new game

Jason and Cameron invented a new game. One of Cam's favorite places for some reason is his changing table. He seems to do a lot of his talking and playing up there. So they started a game that's a good leg strengthener as well.
