alien

there's an alien in my belly.

i've been feeling my belly move from the outside for a while now, but it was more of a slight rising up of my belly. now i'm starting to feel lumps coming out of it. he has to be grooving pretty good and i've only felt it a few times, but holy crap! it's kinda freakin me out. it's gotta be feet or knuckles, or elbows or knees or something. my first instinct is to push it back in. you aren't supposed to come out that way baby bean!

26 weeks and all is well

Becky wanted to have a picture posted in which she was wearing clothes to prove that she does not go around in her sweat pants and tank top every day. She found a couple of sweet maternity dresses today. I have one more week of Oklahoma! We open our outdoor production on Thursday. Pray for good weather!

flying under the radar

Sorry for the break in the blogging. We open our outdoor production of Oklahoma! two weeks from tomorrow and I am swamped. I have also been fighting a nasty cold for a week. Our last appointment was last Tues. I tried to post the an audio link of the heartbeat but had some technical problems. Becky and baby are well. I am trying not to spread my funky cold to them.
The blogs will get more frequent after May 4th.

and so it grows

We noticed that Becky's belly was extra round today and decided to take another picture. She knows when she is going to grow because the day or two before she feels the round ligament pains. We have another doctor's appointment tomorrow. I feel very fortunate that I have been able to go to all but one so far.

we call her picky

When we first got Pickles the pet store said she was a male. After some time we noticed that certain parts of "his" anatomy seemed to be missing. We soon realized our dear Mr. Pickles was a Miss Pickles. We now call her Picky for short. She gets a couple alfalfa treats everyday and today we had to open a new package. The makers of the treats apparently changed the recipe because she wanted nothing to do with the new treats as you can see in the video.

kickin and screamin...well at least kickin

Becky has been feeling Baby Bean kick for a few weeks now, but as I have reported he stops every time I get near. My wait is over. I got to feel him kicking today. Really cool!
